Hello,
I would like to hear your thoughts on how you are preparing for a downcycle in economy.
Market is down 20% YTD but that is after 30%, 40% growth last couple of years so market is still frothy.
S&P might go down to 2800-2900. Companies on your list will adjust earnings and dividends. Are you using any stop loss criteria to exit?
Are you going to hold another 20%-25% decline in portfolio?
2-Yr Treasury yield and real 10-Yr rate are suggesting that SPX fair value is ~14X P/E multiple.
implying SPX to bottom around 3,000 (@current earnings estimates).
If earnings are dropped by companies, we are looking at 2800.
good reason to buy more stock.
10 years from now you will be laughing at this.
why using a stop loss if dividend keep coming ?
I do not believe in 20%-25% decline.
time will tell …
